每日大赛官网 will present Christian singer and songwriter Matthew West's "Hello My Name Is" tour at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 21, in the S.E. Belcher Jr. Chapel and Performance Center, 2100 S. Mobberly Ave., in Longview.
Tickets are on sale for $15 to $30, plus applicable fees, based on seating. Tickets may be purchased at www.BelcherCenter.com or by phone at 903-233-3080.
The "Hello My Name Is" tour is an acoustic tour that aims for an intimate setting. West tells powerful, true stories and sings his songs inspired by them. The event will also include videos of everyday people sharing their stories that inspired his songs.
West has released five studio albums and was nominated for five Dove Awards in 2005. He won the 2013 American Music Award for Best Contemporary Inspirational Artist. Also, his single, "Hello, My Name Is," from his "Into the Light" album was number one for a record-breaking 17 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Christian Songs chart. He has served as a songwriter for various Christian and country musicians and bands, including Natalie Grant, Casting Crowns, Rascal Flatts and Billy Ray Cyrus.
