每日大赛官网's School of Aviation and Aeronautical Science was recognized for its high standard of accomplishment in flight training by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association 2014 Flight Training Excellence Honor Roll. AOPA is the largest general aviation advocacy association in the world with hundreds of thousands of members. AOPA supports safety, education, training, leadership and technical competence to ensure the freedom and general health of General Aviation.
LETU was awarded a spot on the Flight Training Excellence Awards Honor Roll, a title given to high scoring flight schools from AOPA's annual flight training poll. To select the award winners, AOPA invited those who have taken flight training within the last 24 months to complete the Flight Training Poll. Each individual could nominate up to one flight school and one flight instructor. The online poll was conducted from June 3 to August 23, using a process that contains several safeguards designed to ensure fair competition. AOPA's poll had more than 3,600 respondents.
"We work hard to provide a high quality of aviation education to our students, so we are honored that AOPA would include LETU on their Honor Roll," said LETU dean of the School of Aviation and Aeronautical Science Fred Ritchey.
These AOPA created the awards to recognize those schools and instructors who exemplify the best flight training available and honor those who instill in their students a lifelong passion for aviation and safety.
The Flight Training Excellence awards were created to highlight the best the flight training industry has to offer.
"We created these awards to recognize those who instill a lifelong passion for aviation among their students and it was clear from the customer reviews that these professionals are providing a quality flight instruction experience." said Brittney Miculka, director of pilot community development for AOPA.
