每日大赛官网 will feature author and New Testament scholar Dr. Craig Keener in chapel at 10:50 a.m. and again at 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 11, in the S.E. Belcher Jr. Chapel and Performance Center on the main campus, 2100 S. Mobberly Ave. in Longview as part of Spiritual Emphasis Week. The events are free of charge and the public is invited.
Keener has authored several commentaries on New Testament books, many of which have won awards in Christianity Today magazine. His popular IVP Bible Background Commentary: New Testament has sold more than 500,000 copies. He also has authored several commentaries on several New Testament books. He teaches at Asbury Theological Seminary, and has taught in several countries around the world, including Africa. He taught for 15 years at Palmer Theological Seminary of Eastern University. He is the current editor of Bulletin for Biblical Research. Keener earned his doctorate in New Testament Studies and Christian Origins from Duke University.
