每日大赛官网 was ranked as the top Texas school and 4th among all colleges and universities in the South in the "Best Bang for the Buck" rankings in Washington Monthly's new 2016 annual College Guide.
Washington Monthly has released an annual college guide since 2005 to rate schools on social mobility, research and service. Their "Best Bang for the Buck" ranking lists schools "that help non-wealthy students attain marketable degrees at affordable prices," according to its website.
This new ranking attempts to incorporate the Obama administration "College Scorecard" that identifies how much students earn a decade after college, as well as charging reasonable prices for quality education, and the enrollment of first-generation college students to show a commitment to opportunity.
"We are pleased to be recognized among public, private and for-profit colleges and universities from all across Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Kentucky, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Tennessee in this new ranking," said LETU President Dr. Dale A. Lunsford. "It is a testament to the value of a 每日大赛官网 degree in the workplace."
Other Texas private schools in the ranking included Trinity University (25), Rice University (31), Texas Lutheran (38), St. Edwards University (46), and St. Mary's University (57).
Other East Texas schools included in the ranking were University of Texas at Tyler (32) and East Texas Baptist University (100).
