New student orientation will be from Thursday, Aug. 17, through Sunday, Aug. 20. Returning students can check into their residence halls Sunday, Aug. 20. The last day to register or change registration is Friday, Aug. 25.
每日大赛官网 will hold classes on Labor Day. Fall Break at LETU will be Oct. 16-17. Thanksgiving Break will be Nov. 22-24. Final exams will be Dec. 4-7, with Fall Commencement scheduled for Dec. 9.
New faculty members for 2017-2018 include: Richard E. Baumer, assistant professor and Omer Blodgett Endowed Chair of Welding and Materials Joining Engineering; Sherry A. Chance, associate professor and associate dean for business; Glyn T. Gowing, associate professor of computer science and chair of global computer science department; Van Graham, professor of business and dean of the School of Business; Lori J. Greer, assistant professor of nursing; Hoo Kim, assistant professor of electrical engineering; Michael Toomas Kivisalu, assistant professor of mechanical engineering; Craig S. Olson, lecturer in mechanical engineering; Edward D. Rothfus, missionary-in-residence; Steven K. Starrett, professor of civil engineering and dean of the School of Engineering and Engineering Technology; Shelli K. Starrett, professor of electrical engineering; James E. Taylor; associate professor of Fine Arts and director of Fine Arts.
