The Performance Series includes:
• Broadway musical “The Wizard of Oz” at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2018
• Soweto Gospel Choir at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, October 27,
• Country music artist Josh Turner at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2018
• Comedian Bill Engvall at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2018
• Neil Berg’s 50 Years of Rock and Roll at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2019
• Singer Tony Orlando at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019
• Master pianist Jim Brickman at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2019
A Special Event will feature:
• Musical “American Girl Live” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2019
The School and Family Series shows include:
• “Diary of a Worm, a Spider, and a Fly” on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018
• “Underwater Bubble Show” on Tuesday, March 5, 2019
Season ticket holder renewals begin Monday, July 16. New season ticket packages will go on sale Monday, July 23. Individual show tickets will go on sale Monday, Aug. 6. To purchase tickets, call the Belcher Center Box Office at (903) 233-3080 or go online at .

Back by popular demand is the “Build Your Own Season” option of getting discounts on ticket packages for five, six or seven shows. Purchasing all seven shows in the Performance Series provides a 15% discount. A package of six shows provides a 13% discount. Those purchasing five shows receive an 11% discount. Season ticket packages include a pass to priority parking for those shows, plus the ability to select seats before shows go on sale to the public.
Discounts are not available online, so season ticket packages must be made at the box office or by phone at the 每日大赛官网 Belcher Center at 903-233-3080 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The Broadway musical Wizard of Oz at 7 p.m., Oct. 11, is a lavish rendition of the 1938 MGM film loved by audiences young and old. The timeless musical score and breathtaking special effects
The Soweto Gospel Choir performance at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 27, will celebrate the unique and inspirational power of African Gospel music, drawing on the best talent from many churches around Soweto. The music shares the joy of faith through music. This show is sponsored by the Friends of the Belcher Center.
Country music artist Josh Turner will perform at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 17, bringing the multi-platinum MCA Nashville artist to the Belcher Center for the first time. Turner’s rich, deep voice and distinctive style has sold more than 12 million records including his 2003 platinum-selling debut “Long Black Train,” and his other hits including “Your Man,” “Why Don’t We Just Dance,” “Would You Go With Me?” and the most played country song of 2012, “Time is Love.” This show is sponsored by Eastman Chemical and Pelaia Law Center.
Comedian Bill Engvall will perform at 7:30 p.m. Dec.14, and is sure to deliver great laughs. Formerly, part of the hugely successful Blue Collar Comedy Tour, Engvall is entertaining on stage, on the big screen or on paper. This show is sponsored by the Longview News-Journal.
The 50 Years of Rock & Roll rock music history
Singer Tony Orlando will bring a warmth and energy to the stage at 7:30 p.m. March 23 from his decades-long career that includes five number one hits and million-selling records, his popular television variety show and his work on Broadway. His recording of “Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree.” This show is sponsored by Citizens National Bank and Marge and Tom Dome.
Master pianist Jim Brickman will perform at 7:30 p.m. April 27, captivating audiences with his distinctive piano style. The School and Family Series kicks off with two performances of “Diary of a Worm, A Spider, and A Fly” (at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.) on October 4, 2018. Based on three books, Diary of a Worm, Diary of a Spider, and Diary of a Fly, by Doreen Cronin and illustrated by Harry Bliss, the show is a rock and roll romp in a bug’s world, capturing all the droll humor and whimsy of the wildly popular books. The show is produced by Dallas Children’s Theatre from Dallas. This show is sponsored by a grant from the Texas Commission on the Arts.
