Giving Day - Give with Purpose

Giving Day Thank You

Current students thank our generous donors for their participation in Giving Day 2025 for 每日大赛官网!

Giving Day Priorities

Scholarship

This is your chance to help a great student attend and stay in school.

One of the strategic priorities/pillars of the Build With Purpose Campaign is to ensure that an LETU education is accessible. Increasing available scholarships is one of the ways that this priority is achieved.

Students, through no fault of their own, sometime find themselves unable to continue at LETU.  Perhaps it’s a family illness or a lost job. Every year LETU hears from students who face these and other situations. Your gift can mean the difference for one of them.

An anonymous donor is committed to adding $25K for every 25 gifts to the LeTourneau Scholarship Fund (up to 75K).

Abbott

The School of Aviation, one of LETU’s flagship programs, is maxed out.  With the current lab, classroom and hanger space it cannot adequately recruit and prepare more students.

The Abbott Center Renovation and Expansion, including the Roger Carr Aviation Maintenance Technician Center, will allow this amazing and critical program to grow.

Help us finish the fundraising by October, so the Mabee Foundation can complete their 2 million dollar gift.  Your gift can help make a $2,000,000 difference.

Your gift to this fund brings us closer to meeting the Mabee Foundation Challenge, securing its $2,000,000 gift.

David McKinley of Curtis-McKinley Roofing will add $1,000 for evey five gifts up to $5,000.

 Four Giving Day Challenges

Larry Anderson

Another way to help Ensure an Accessible Education, this scholarship was created in late 2024 with the passing of Dr. Larry Anderson, a beloved professor who taught Math and established the university’s computer science program.  Appropriately, this scholarship will annually be awarded to deserving math or computer science students who have financial need. With your help, it will become endowed, so that it can continue to provide scholarships to current students for those for generations to come.

$17K is needed to meet our initial $25K goal to create an endowment.

CPUC

每日大赛官网 is proud of what it’s known for, a leader in hands-on, professional, and industry-centric education. But in a rapidly innovating world, it must offer labs that parallel cutting-edge, industrial experiences. The new CPUC is one of the ways LETU is addressing this need for Premier Lab Experiences.  Lynn Showalter's recent gift is intended to create a lab space in memory of Leta Faye Arnold but more funds are required to complete this task. Please consider giving to assist in the building of the lab in Leta Faye Arnold’s memory, her guidance to Speak Life and continuous learning.

Your gift will be matched 1 to 1 up to a total of $50,000 through Lynn Showalter's generous gift.

Every Gift Matters

Air Dome

LeTourneau's Athletic and Human Performance Air Dome will mark LeTourneau as an innovative leader in applied education and create a premier indoor track and field facility, suitable for hosting major regional and national meets.  An attractive and flexible venue for sports competitions and other large events the Air Dome will serve the university and all of East Texas.  Please consider giving to this to this amazing project and help to bring the fundraising of this facility to a fantastic conclusion.

Larry’s Interiors will add $100 each of the first 5 gifts towards the Air Dome.

Tyler Hall

The university is planning to make much needed renovations to the Tyler Hall (East and West) beginning in the summer of 2025. The first hall built in 1963 to replace aging barracks left on the campus from Harmon General Hospital days, Tyler Hall has served its residential purpose well for over six decades. But after sixty-two years, improvements need to be made to ensure the hall remains available and desirable. Tyler has meant so much to so many over the years it is believed that some would welcome the opportunity to invest in the future of this iconic facility.

Micrometl Corporation will match your gift 1 to 1 up to $5,000.
